Hello. My name is Sarah!
This is my knitting introduction:
I learned to knit it 7th grade. A friend taught me during an after school knitting program. Well, I learned how to do garter stitch and cast on. Then a girl I babysat, who was fortunate enough to attend Waldorf school, taught me how to bind off, and somewhere in between I learned how to purl.
The first thing I ever knit was a useless mishapen blob with holes in it.
I love to knit, and love challenging patterns. But, I don't knit very often. I just lay around and do other things.

Blog created succesfully!
Hello world!
Welcome to our adventures in long-distance knitting. This blog was conceived by two friends (yours truly, and Rachel) during a Lord Of The Rings Marathon, that was also a bit of a knitting marathon as well.
Now, we join the world of knitting blogs, all living in different parts of the country, which will no doubt be endlessly fascinating!
Happy knitting!
